Attorneys Laura Coorpender Ramirez and Robert Ramirez are graduates of Southern Methodist University's (SMU) Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. They are active members of the First Baptist Church in Lewisville, and many clients say they chose our firm because of their faith-based approach to family law and guardianship issues.
Robert is a Certified Registered Guardian in good standing with the National Guardianship Foundation, a member of the Texas Guardianship Association, the National Guardianship Association, and the Arc of Texas, and currently serves on the board of directors for two non-profit companies. He is also a certified mediator and trained in collaborative family law by the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
Laura has a degree in nursing and a master's degree in health care administration, credentials that help guide client decisions in guardianship matters. Before opening this law firm with her husband, she worked as a briefing attorney for the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals, a useful background for preparing petitions or oral arguments on behalf of clients in contested matters.
